Saratoga Race Track isn't the only reason to visit beautiful Saratoga.    The fall foliage in Saratoga County has some of the best leaf changes around, take a long drive from the Chamber lane Motel and head North to Lake George for some spectacular views, maybe climb a mountain or two, we have a knowledgeable mountain hiker who can point you in the right direction.  Bring your kayak, canoe or small boat and try fishing on Round Lake, or take a short drive to Saratoga Lake.  Maybe you like biking, Zim Smith trail is a nice light bike trail for all levels of biking.   There is lots of history in Saratoga County, so make a stop at Saratoga National Historical Park or Ulysses S. Grant Cottage in Wilton.  We are also just a short drive to the mineral baths in Saratoga.  If you still want to play the horses and put a quarter in a slot machine then take some time out to visit Saratoga Casino and Raceway.  View live races outside at the rail, in the lower clubhouse, in the Grandstand or while dining at Fortunes Restaurant or Lucky Joe's.  You can also watch and wager on live racing in New York or from tracks around the country, year-round, on one of the many TV's located in the Mezzanine.  Just a 10 minute drive will bring you to lovely but lively Saratoga Springs, lots of great shopping and dining and don't forget to visit Saratoga Performing Arts Center (SPAC) for a great concert or the ballet.

The Saratoga Casino and Raceway, nicknamed the Racino, combines old traditions and new technology with the best in classic harness racing and brand new video gaming entertainment. This is the first video gaming property to open in New York State, complementing the Raceway (formerly known as the Saratoga Harness Track) which has been a Saratoga landmark and destination since 1941.

Over one thousand video lottery terminals (VLT's) are housed here, adding to live racing and video simulcasts. With some of the most popular games in the industry, including: Wheel of Gold, Blazing 7´s, Black & White Double Jackpot, Jackpot Party, and Vegas 5-Line, there is something for everyone. If it's live action you want, simply check out the Standard bred harness track, year round racing will thrill every guest.
